My Heart Breaks Every Day discusses the sinking feeling of the blood-pressure drop that accompanies every flashback. Sitting on a couch, at dinner, attempting to smile and get-on with it, I am suddenly absent from what is in front of me as my heart feels like it is shattering into a million tiny pieces.
