"You are a midwife to yourself, and will give birth to yourself, over and over, in dark rooms, alone." - Caitlin Moran, How To Build a Girl

'Proserpine and The Six Seeds' is a devised work inspired by the Graeco-Roman Myth and Mary Shelley's 'Proserpine'. It examine nurturing, rebellion, connection and growing up as a young person attempts to build their identity. Four performers, using voices, bodies and pomegranates explore the cyclical nature of life and creation - once, now and then upon a time. Acknowledging where they've come from, figuring out where they need to go next. We will bring you towards the forward never never back. We're moving on.
